Hey all! This week I’m on vacation in LA for my spring break, so I’ve scheduled a few posts from events that took place last week. I went to Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World) with Peter since I haven’t been since before Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opened.

It was hot that day, so I decided to wear an all-white outfit. I didn’t feel like taking out shorts to wear just yet, so I paired my white American Eagle jeggings with a basic tank from Zara, my American Eagle chambray shirt, and white converse. It was the perfect choice (although you would think that all white at a theme park = disaster) to keep cool. I honestly have no idea how my hair stayed nice and curled. I also took the opportunity to flaunt my new BaubleBar fire cracker drops earrings! I’m trying to re-build my statement earring collection this year.
These are the bags of gems in the queue for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – just one of a few interactive games, similar to bro138 slot, to entertain guests in the line. The wait time was 75 minutes when we got in line, and I would say it was pretty accurate. I really dislike how most of the queue is outside (much like Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) and I definitely don’t think the ride is worth that long of a wait. There are cute elements of the ride, mainly at the beginning and the end, but the rest of it was way too short.
Rapunzel’s castle
Pirates of the Caribbean queue. This used to be one of my favorite rides, but I’m not sure how I feel about the addition of Captain Jack Sparrow. The ride was doing just fine without it, but the robot does eerily look (almost) exactly like Johnny Depp.

All in all, we had a really fun time. We got to go on nine rides and venture around the park for photos. One thing that put a damper on part of the day was discovering that Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid was closed, but it should be open by now for anyone going to Magic Kingdom.
February/March is the best time to go to Disney in the first half of the year, in my opinion, because it’s not insanely hot, and the daily thunderstorms haven’t started yet. It also wasn’t as crowded as it is starting in late May/early June.
