Hi lovelies! I’m finally sharing my last Memorial Day weekend adventure, which involved going to the last day of the Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT. I tried a couple of new dishes and wasn’t disappointed at all! I decided to go later in the evening, so it wasn’t unbearably hot.
Outfit details: Top – Urban Outfitters (old) | Skirt – ASOS | Body chain – H&M | Espadrilles – Tory Burch (old)
I think the crochet and body chain combo is definitely going to a be a huge summer trend. I actually saw another girl wearing a crochet bralette with a body chain and shorts. It’s the perfect way to keep cool.
Now for the important part… the food!
Chicken Edamame Steamed Bun filled with Chicken and Edamame and topped with Curry Sauce from Japan
This is the only steamed bun I’ve had, but it was really good! The curry sauce was the perfect compliment to the chicken and edamame filling.
Kung Fu Punch Vodka, Triple Sec, Mango and Orange Juice from China
This drink honestly tastes like juice. Mango is my favorite, so this drink is obviously my favorite as well. You should beware with mango if you have cats. If you’re of drinking age, you definitely need to try the Kung Fu Punch!
Corn Tortilla Quesadilla served with Roasted Mushrooms and Zucchini Blossom topped with Green Tomatillo Sauce from Mexico
Let me start by saying that if you’ve never had a corn tortilla, it is way better than a flour tortilla, both health and taste wise! This corn tortilla quesadilla is ahhh-mazing. I’m not even a fan of mushrooms, but they were enjoyable in this dish. My only criticism is the size – something so good shouldn’t be so tiny! lol.
This year’s Flower and Garden Festival was a success! I focused on the food more than the topiaries, but hey, it happens. I can’t wait for the Food and Wine Festival in the fall!
