#OOTD: Simple Elegance

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since my last blog post, but I just wanted to share a quick outfit of the day with you. I won a contest the other day to meet Tori Kelly after seeing her perform, and it was a really cool experience. Not only is she talented, but Tori is very sweet and laid back. The event itself was a happy hour, so I wanted to dress up a little.

I was very hesitant about purchasing this dress from a new boutique because my hips/thighs are usually not boutique sizing friendly, but everything I’ve ordered from Naked Wardrobe so far (for the most part) fit very well. It’s easily becoming my favorite place to buy basics that can be dressed either up or down. I was also hesitant about wearing it to a happy hour event because I was 99% sure I was going to spill something on myself, but surprisingly, I didn’t 🙂
I paired the dress with the “Chancy” strappy sandals from JustFab, and although they were love at first sight, they were not love at first wear. Two hours after wearing them, my feet started to hurt, but I’m not sure if it’s because I hadn’t broken them in yet or if that’s just how they are. They’re beautiful so I’m going to keep wearing them, but I’m going to put some gel pads in them and use blister block where the straps are.
As for my hands, my nails are currently “Going My Way Or Norway?” OPI gel polish and my rings are from Aldo. If you haven’t seen Aldo’s jewelry, you should check it out ASAP. I love just about every piece they have. They sell the ring pack I got in stores as well as at ASOS, and a smaller selection on their own website.
