Silky Bomber Jacket – Spring calls for chilly nights, and I want to branch out with the new silky bomber jackets on the market. There are some cute plain ones like this rust colored one from Topshop, as well as floral ones at Zara and other fast fashion places.
Faux Suede Dress – I love the idea of a short sleeved faux suede dress for spring. The fabric adds an interesting element to whatever cut of the dress you choose. I bought one from Missguided that I’m excited to wear!
Cropped Turtleneck – A lightweight cropped turtleneck in blush is perfect to layer over tight midi skirts or dresses, as well as high waist jeans and shorts.
Lace Guipure Top – I wasted no time buying this top from Zara. It just screams “Spring!!” to me. It can also (obviously) be taken in to summer.
Camel Waistcoat – I bought a beige waistcoat last year, and I am definitely ready to add another color to my wardrobe. It’s perfect to layer over outfits that show a little too much skin for the Spring temperatures, or to make an outfit look more chic.
Destroyed Boyfriend Jeans – I feel like I always include a destroyed bottom in my wishlists, but I’m obsessed. Boyfriend jeans are some comfortable, and destroyed ones can be dressed way up or way down.
Frayed Denim Crop Top – This is definitely a Kendall Jenner inspired pick on my end; I saw her wearing a frayed denim crop top with white pants and loved it. They also seem to be everywhere this season. I got mine from H&M’s Divided line but they will definitely be carried in most fast fashion stores!
Denim Jacket – Denim Jackets have always been a Spring staple, but I’m looking to replace my cropped one from a couple of years ago with a regular length, slightly oversized one. I’m hoping to get a distressed one to make outfits look more interesting.
Catsuit – Catsuits are also a huge trend right now thanks to Kim K, but they’re very versatile and I feel like they’re going to become a wardrobe staple for me once I find one that fits really well. I want to get sleeveless catsuits in a light neutral color and one in black.
Lace Up Skirt -This skirt is probably one of my favorite Balmain pieces. I feel like I could wear it with 75% of the shirts in my “warm clothes” closet. I’m currently searching for a (way) cheaper version, so if you find any, let me know 🙂
Ice Cream Phone Case – Kate Spade is known for her quirky designs, and this is no different. I’m searching around for phone cases to add to my collection, and although I would like a classic case, this is just so fun.
Tasseled Sandals – These Steve Madden heels are dupes for Aquazurra sandals. They’re a gorgeous take on the tassel trend. JustFab actually has some at an even more reasonable price (style name: ‘Tayrey’), and I can’t wait to get mine in the mail.
Faux Fur Clutch – Thanks to Scream Queens, I’ve been obsessed with faux fur accessories and outerwear, but living in a hot climate, I can only wear faux fur coats and stoles for so long. I plan on transitioning my faux fur love into Spring with a clutch in a pastel color.
Small Backpack – If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I go to Disney a lot. I also like going on day trips and adventures. Carrying a backpack around makes life so much easier in those situations, and luckily almost all stores are making stylish backpacks. This one from Zara is on my radar.
Pom Pom Sandals – This is another fun item that I want to add to my wardrobe. Pom pom sandals remind me of Trinidad and they’re definitely appropriate for the Florida heat!
Casual Sneakers – Adidas originals have come back in style in the past year or so. I could definitely use a pair of casual sneakers to pair with my backpack on adventures, and these fit my style pretty well.
All of these items are shop-able by clicking the little images below my Polyvore set. I’ve already started building my Spring wardrobe and can’t wait to style the new items. A new thing I’m trying to do is get rid of as many pieces as I bring in (at the very least), so my closet doesn’t get overcrowded. Maybe I’ll do a little spring cleaning post with tips on how to balance out your wardrobe.
Let me know what you think of my Spring wishlist, as well as what’s on yours!
