Places to go in Trinidad & Tobago: Manzanilla

24/05/2016

On the way back to Central Trinidad from Mayaro, my family and I made a pit stop at the Manzanilla Beach boardwalk. The views were breathtaking, which is to be expected at almost every beach in Trinidad.
My outfit was inspired by another blogger last summer, and it was great for exploring by the sea. Although it’s very hot in Trinidad, this folk kimono from Zara (this year’s version here) was necessary due to the windy sea. The romper is from ASOS (no surprise there!), and I had been eyeing it all last summer until it went on sale. It’s called the ASOS Wrap Romper in Stripe. I’ll be honest, it’s a bit annoying to put on and take off, especially when you need to use the washroom, but it was too cute for me to pass up. I wore my favorite Lola Shoetique sandals with the romper and kimono.
I’ve been missing Trinidad since the minute I got back to the US. I can’t wait to go back and go on more adventures with my family.
