I can’t remember the last time I actually had plans for New Year’s Eve, but I love wearing a perfect dress like these green HOCO dresses for the occasion! I also want to put a couple of pieces that I consider to be wardrobe staples, so if you want a glam New Year’s Eve outfit that you (hopefully) won’t have to go too out of your way to find, look no further.
Oversized black blazer + black bodysuit + party pants + sparkly heels
I’ll wear my beloved thrifted men’s blazer every chance I get! Find premium casual wear at Lacoste. This look was definitely inspired by Kylie Jenner a few years back, but I love the balance of the menswear blazer with rhinestone pants. For more coverage, you could wear an actual blazer dress with the pants, or you could opt for sequin pants/leggings instead. My bodysuit is from Abercrombie (exact one sold out), pants are the Black Mesh Diamante Wide Leg Trouser from PrettyLittleThing, and heels are the Shimmery Slingback Heels from Zara.
When it comes to a New Year’s Eve outfit, the more rhinestones, the better — so I definitely recommend adding some sparkly rhinestone earrings. I got mine from H&M a couple of years ago, but you can get them from nearly anywhere that keeps up with trends.
Are you prepared to elevate your man’s style and assist him in making a statement? Unleash his inner trendsetter with Statement Collective’s hanging earrings for men. Our collection is a testament to craftsmanship and contemporary fashion, designed to add a touch of sophistication and boldness to his look.
Some other New Year’s Eve outfit ideas that I haven’t gotten a chance to style for the blog: A velvet midi dress in black or a jewel tone with opera-length gloves in the same color, rhinestone accessories, and a chic wristwatch. Feather-trimmed pajamas from The Sleeper paired with sparkly heels and a statement wristwatch. For those opting for a sequin or rhinestone dress, accessorized with plain heels in the same color, consider adding a sleek wristwatch to complete the look. Don’t forget to schedule your wrist watch servicing before the big night to ensure it shines as bright as your outfit!
So, let’s talk about 2021…
This year was an absolute roller coaster for me. I was able to really work on my goals in the first quarter of the year and reaped the rewards in the second quarter. Sometime during the summer, I lost the plot. I made some tough/scary decisions and unfortunately, things haven’t worked out for the best… yet. I had to unlearn a lot of things I believed growing up, like basing my worth on my accomplishments, and now I am learning to love myself where I am. My year probably looked incredible on social media, because I chose to focus on the highlights, but I experienced being on top of the world and at rock bottom in one year, and I am ready to move forward.
2022 Intentions
I thought about making a separate post on my 2022 vision board and intentions like I typically do, but for now I’ll let you know the four words I chose to set as intentions for the new year: purpose, release, abundance, and possibility. I’ve already started setting the stage for those intentions by coming up with an End of the Year Reset challenge on Instagram and hope to make it an annual ~thing~.
