One of my favorite fall colors as of late is taupe. Okay, that’s a bit of a stretch. Taupe has been one of my favorite nail polish colors for the longest time – Essie’s ‘Taupeless Beach’ is one of my top three nail polish shades. I’m way overdue incorporating the color into my wardrobe! I love how it looks with white, black, and grey. It’s a neutral that can be easily transitioned from fall to winter due to its washed out (in a good way) look. I decided to give it a test run with the two taupe pieces I own, before I go taupe-crazy at the mall.

I honestly cannot rave enough about my cardigan. If I had to wear one outfit every day for the rest of my life, this cardigan would be a part of it. The taupe color is perfection. And I’m going to go ahead and say it for the millionth time, I LOVE playing with texture. The faux suede vs chiffon vs knit of the sweater brings out the beauty of taupe.
