It’s officially beginning to feel like fall here in Florida, which is characterized by warm (sometimes still hot) days and cool nights. We can still get away with wearing shorts, but now we can work short sleeves, light cardigans, and boots back into our wardrobes. Fall is my favorite season, so in the middle of the summer, I got really excited and purchased a bunch of boots to wear. I wanted something different, so I decided to try thigh-high lace up boots.
Last year, I mentioned that I never really liked wearing light wash jeans because they did nothing for my thighs. Once I got over that, I figured I would push myself a little bit further and try some thigh-high boots. After ordering them, I was ninety-nine percent sure that I would be sending them back, but you don’t know unless you try, right? And that’s exactly what I did.
The boots are called ‘High Authority‘ from Lola Shoetique (recently restocked! hurry – it will probably sell out again soon), and my top is the Nina Wrap Front Oversized Jersey Blouse from Boohoo. The shorts are from American Eagle and are also featured in my Chicago outfit posts. My bag is the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Five Zip, which you can find at TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack.
My sparkly ring and my layered necklace are from Bauble Bar, and all of my photos were captured by the lovely Sel Hawkins, @selhawkins on Instagram. Let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments!
