Disclaimer: Although this product was sent to me for review, all opinions are 100% my own. I tested the product twice a week for three weeks before putting together my review.
This semester has been full of (necessary) sleepless nights, so finding a way to rejuvenate my under eye area was a task and a half. VIIcode came along and sent me a pack of their O2M Oxygen Eye Masks to review, and I saw results just a few days after using the first mask.
A couple of hours before using the mask, I pop it in the fridge. That way it’s nice and even more chilled, therefore more relaxing. The mask is packaged in one set which contains one mask per eye. There’s a gel attached to the mask which is seriously so smoothing and relieving, which is why the effect is amplified when you put the mask in the fridge for a couple of hours before use. I followed the brand’s instructions to use the mask 2-3 times a week, and to wear it for at least 8 hours at a time. The O2M Oxygen Eye Mask is actually the first 8-hour overnight treatment sheet mask, which is a pretty cool feat. Not to mention there are 6 masks (each mask is a pair) in each box! I found it easiest to wear the mask to bed and remove it immediately after waking up; another plus was that I didn’t get any product in my eye.
The product states it will “take years off your appearance” by reducing puffiness, fine lines, and dark circles. The main mechanism of the ingredients is to stimulate oxygen to the muscle cells surrounding your under eye area. The main ingredients include EOPE (Ecological Oxygen Plant Extraction), Welwitschia Mirabillis, and recovery fern. Although my dark circles didn’t completely disappear with the mask, they aren’t as apparent, and the puffiness under my eyes that I often experience after long nights was completely gone. It’s also extremely relaxing to lounge with the refrigerated mask on! I found myself enjoying the time that I used the O2M Oxygen Eye Mask.
A full treatment course is equivalent to three packs, and can be found in bundles on the VIIcode website. One pack retails for $58. It might seem like a commitment, but honestly, there is definitely value in the O2M Oxygen Eye Mask if you have long nights on a regular basis like I do. Treat yo’self!
