Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and although I don’t have a Valentine or any plans this year, I styled some Valentine’s Day outfits for both dressy and casual look lovers!
Look 1: All Dolled Up
The first look is a simple yet memorable outfit. A well-fitted pink wrap dress is a closet staple for me, as pink is my favorite color. To take the dress to the next level, I decided to colorblock it with red.

The dress is from the Gal Meets Glam collection and can be styled so many different ways! I kept my jewelry simple with a delicate necklace and my pearl ring, and wore some gold statement earrings with sparkle. I paired the dress with a red bucket bag from the Who What Wear collection at Target, red mules (also from the WWW collection at Target), and a red lip.
I used to admire all of the ‘it’ girls that were able to pull off colorblocking, but I am here to let you know that you don’t have to be an ‘it’ girl to do it. You just need pieces you genuinely love and a well-fitted dress!

Look 2: Cute and Casual
My second look is cute and casual… but still nice if you go to an upscale restaurant. It also involves a trend I didn’t think I could pull off – black vinyl leggings.
There are so many ways you can style black vinyl leggings, but one way to rock them for Valentine’s Day is with a chunky red sweater, white booties, and a white knit hat. Bonus points if you add an oversized teddy jacket, like the one I’m wearing. 😉

I like the balance of the black with white with a pop of red. I’ve stated this in previous blog posts, but I don’t wear red enough, and especially after this post, I’m not sure why! I fell in love with the Chelsea Heeled Fashion Boots from the A New Day line at Target. They are both chic and comfortable; I sized up so I could wear thicker socks with them for winter. The outfit would also look really cute with white chunky sneakers!

Although I don’t have any Valentine’s Day plans, pink is my favorite color and I’m always open to experimenting with red, so styling outfits for the occasion is fun for me! What do you plan on wearing this Valentine’s Day?
