As of Sunday, Spring is officially here! Temperatures are already in the high 80’s/low 90’s in Florida, but there’s still a nice breeze in the evenings. I love when the flowers bloom, even though I have really bad pollen allergies. With the start of Spring, there have been a bunch of art festivals in the area. I went to the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival over the weekend, because my favorite print place Rifle Paper Co. was having a sidewalk sale.
Top: Zara Frilled Poplin Shirt
Jeans: J.Crew Toothpick Jean in black
Shoes: ASOS SOPHIA Lace Up Pointed Heels in black
Hat: H&M Wool Hat
The Zara shirt with the peek-a-boo shoulder has become a worldwide favorite. I actually wasn’t impressed by the shirt when I saw it online, but once I saw it on a few different fashion bloggers, I decided to give it a try and order it. I was really impressed with it and got a few compliments when I wore it! My favorite way to pair it is with white or black high waist jeans (since it’s cropped), but I’ll figure out a few other ways to style it later on in the season. It’s very lightweight – great for warmer weather. I decided to balance the black jeans out with a hat to shade my eyes from the sun and black heels from ASOS. The heels are actually quite comfy since they’re low.
What do you think? Would you wear a peek-a-boo shoulder top? Stay tuned to see my Rifle Paper Co. haul in my March Favorites post coming later this month!
