Recent Purchases

Hi loves! It’s been a while since my last post because school has been a little crazy. Remember in my summer wishlist post when I said that other than my wishlist, I tend to buy things that I want to wear for special events or things that just catch my eye? Well, I’ve been doing a lot of that lately.

Fun shorts are always good to have during the summer, so I’ve been keeping an eye out for ones in colors that I haven’t really considered wearing before. The yellow shorts are Xhilaration by Target and the orange and blue ones are from H&M, but both are unfortunately sold out at the moment. Target is a really good place to get shorts from, they come out with different prints and color combinations quite frequently.

This Bad to the Bone Lattice Bodysuit from Nastygal is basically everything. It’s Givenchy inspired for a fraction of the price. Unfortunately it’s too warm to wear it in Florida at the moment, but I have so many outfit ideas in mind for the fall. The shoes are from JustFab (I wore them in one of my previous posts in nude), and they’re super comfortable as well as stylish.

I also made a few fitness additions to my wardrobe. I got a Fitbit Charge to keep track of how many steps I take and how many calories I burn each day, as well as my sleep patterns. This will help me take the small steps to get healthier. I decided to get a new pair of sneakers (the Nike Air Max Thea in white/white) since I don’t have any solid colored sneakers and it’s more stressful than it should be to match outfits with the sneakers that I do have. They’re a bit stiff but I really like them so far. (If anyone’s wondering about the Mickey headband, I got it at a gift shop at Disney World next to the hair accessories).

This ASOS clutch is one of my new favorite accessories – the 3D flowers make it very interesting and I love the combination of pastel colors. They seem to make a version of this clutch every few seasons, so don’t worry if you missed it this time around.

I’m still working on my summer wishlist, but I’m really content with my summer purchases so far. Have you scored anything you really love this summer? Let me know in the comments!
