It goes without saying that I fully enjoyed our only day of winter. My sinuses have been acting up lately, but I took full advantage of the cold front that rolled in at the beginning of the month. I was originally going to wear all black, but I decided, why not take advantage of winter neutrals?
OK, ok – so I had to wear a turtleneck because I was fighting off a sinus infection and couldn’t play with my life anymore. I chose the softest oversized sweater I own, purchased from H&M last year. Normally, I would pair it with black jeans, but I threw myself a curveball and put on white jeans.
Since I decided to run with the neutral look, I paired my trusty camel coat from ASOS with my new favorite Marc Fisher boots, and added the Coach saddle bag that I’ve been wearing everywhere lately. (Side note: the Marc Fisher Alisa bootie is amazing. It’s a mid-shaft height and looks great with dresses AND jeans, and it elongates your legs without being uncomfortable. I’ve worn them walking around NYC and out to brunch, and they’ve passed the test of time.) The verdict? Grey + white + camel + burgundy is a LOOK. Honestly, don’t ever feel guilty for investing in neutrals…they literally go with everything.

Jeans: Fashion Nova ‘Canopy’ | Booties: Marc Fisher ‘Alisa’ | Coat: ASOS (sold out) | Sweater: H&M (sold out) | Bag: Coach
Transitioning into spring, light colored sweaters + jeans are definitely going to be my seasonal vibe. Take full advantage of mixing neutrals with pastels, too!
Super cute. Love the color scheme!! x
