Packing for vacation as a fashionista is no easy feat. Ninety-nine percent of the time, I overpack. I want to make sure I have an outfit for every occasion, because you never know what might come up. I put together the perfect sightseeing outfit during my Miami trip and wanted to share it with you all.
1. Wear a fuss-free top, appropriate for your location. Florida is hot, so a gauzy, flow top with long sleeves was perfect for me. It wasn’t too hot when the sun was shining directly on me, and it warmed me up whenever there was a cool breeze. H&M has really great off the shoulder tops similar to this one.
2. Pair them with comfortable bottoms. For me, I can live in my destroyed jeans forever and ever. Even better if they’re leggings. American Eagle has really nice, soft denim and they run really good sales from time to time. If joggers are most comfortable for you, go ahead and rock them. If skirts are your thing, be my guest! Wear something you won’t mind walking around in for at least half the day.
3. Classic accessories. I found my mules at UGG and not only are they classics, they’re not uncomfortable to walk around in. I wore them around Miami for two days in a row and have no complaints. In the Sunshine State, sunglasses are a must-have accessory, so I got some round frames from Target. Make sure you don’t forget weather appropriate accessories like an umbrella for rainy climates, or sunglasses and sunscreen in hotter climates!
Tell me lovelies, what is your perfect sightseeing outfit?
