OOTD: Mom Jeans

This may be my love for Stranger Things talking, but I’ve been obsessed with mom jeans lately. I’m still trying to track down the perfect Levi’s, but I found a great pair from ASOS in the meantime.


I’ve been a little Tumblr crazy, and I’ve been reblogging all of the mom jean outfit pictures for inspiration purposes. I wasn’t sure how they would fit on a curvier figure, so I went with a denim brand I was familiar with – ASOS. I found the perfect pair of destroyed mom jeans with just the right amount of stretch. The exact wash I got seems to be sold out, but the ASOS Farleigh Slim Mom Jeans in Prince Light Wash with Busted Knees are pretty much identical.
I love the look of high waisted jeans with a satin or silk cami, so I paired my jeans with the Satin Camisole Top with Lace from H&M. The best thing about this look is that it can be dressed up or down, but NYFW had me feeling fancy (and sad that I didn’t have the opportunity to go), so I decided to dress my outfit up with the Christina body chain choker from Jorden Dime and Yeezy Season 4 style heels from Windsor.
I can’t wait until it actually feels like autumn so I can get more mom jeans to pair with sweaters, long sleeved bodysuits, and cardigans!
