Frill sleeve sweaters were all the rage this winter, for good reason. The ruffles/frills add depth to an otherwise simple sweater. My usual dilemma is how to translate winter clothes into something Florida friendly. On my quest for a frill sleeved outfit, I found this white frill sleeve shift dress from my favorite online retailer, Missguided.
What I love about this piece is that it adds pizzazz to an otherwise plain shift dress. The shift dress silhouette is flattering on a variety of body types (as long as it’s not too oversized), and it’s perfect for going out to eat or walking around for a while. I told you all in my last fashion post that neutrals mixed with pastels are my go-to for transitioning into spring, so I paired the dress with a pastel blue backpack and grey slip ons.
The sleeves of the dress are very airy, which is definitely a plus in the Florida sun. My sneakers are a great alternative to some Steve Madden shoes I was lusting over; I found them on Target’s website (Women’s Rosemary Faux Fur Pom Slip On Sneakers)! They’re a little big but it’s not a deal breaker, especially for the price. My backpack is an old one I got from Zara last year.
How will you be wearing frill sleeves this spring?
Love, love, love! I need it to be warmer here so I can recreate this look
